"This is a stunningly sharp time lapse of a movement of clouds over a stark Ladakhi landscape taken in the peak of winter when the temperature was an average of minue 30 degrees Celcius! Shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mk2 camera using a Nikon 20 mm wide angle lens, this is a high resolution HD clip. Ladakh lies between the Kunlun mountain range in the north and the main Great Himalayas to the south. Ladakh is the highest plateau of the Indian state of Kashmir with much of it being over 3,000 m (9,800 ft). It is one of the most sparsely populated regions in Kashmir. This footage is part of the professionally-shot stock footage archive of Wilderness Films India Ltd., the largest collection of imagery from South Asia.
